Living Food Cafe, Phuket

I came across this wonderful Cafe by accident – I honestly thought i was seeing things as we rode by on a scooter and i read the sign! A Raw Vegan place in Phuket?!?! I was in heaven…It’s a little restaurant set in the downstairs section of a Wellness House for Naturopathic Detox. Originally the kitchen was opened to serve the guests/patients healthy, healing food but the owner soon realised that there was a niche for a ’Live’ Cafe, and so it was (thankfully!) opened to the public. If you are ever in the area, be sure to visit this one & only Raw Vegan Restaurant in Phuket! Here are some of the amazing, mouth-watering dishes i tried off the menu:

 Vegan in Phuket, THAILAND

As a Vegan, food is not lacking in Thailand – as long as you ask for your dishes prepared without Fish Sauce, Oyster Sauce & Egg. They love cooking with fresh herbs and sprouts, as well as ginger, garlic, chilli & lime, which always result in a sensational-tasting meal. Be sure to order everything ‘Jay’, which is the equivalent of Vegan to them. And don’t forget to take advantage in the abundance of wonderful, thirst-quenching Coconuts!
