An Austrian-South African Vegan, currently living in London. A slight addiction to ordering cookbooks from Amazon = this!
I’m on a mission to make healthy food that even carnivores can enjoy… and to prove to my family & friends that being Vegan doesn’t mean living off Carrot sticks!
Email me if you have any questions, or if there’s a certain recipe you would like posted:
Hi,
My boyfriend plays soccer with yours and told me about your vegan eatery/market guru-ness.
I was wondering if you knew of somewhere in Hong Kong to buy seitan?
I’m sure paths will cross at some point…i watch the soccer games from time to time….
Cheers,
Nan
Hi Nan! There is an organic/health shop in Stanley street that sells already pickeled/marinated seitan in jars. I ordered ready-made mixes from the States, but you can also make your own…It’s simple but a bit time consuming. If you like, i can email you a recipe? x
A recipe would be great !
Thanks,
Nan

Stunning blog Bex!! even im reconsidering my carnivorous status.. 😉 yay!! well done!! xx
Very nice blog and I am super impressed that you are a vegan living in an Asian county. All your food pictures are worth drooling over!!
Thank you so much! It’s actually not too bad in Hong Kong – there’s some great supermarkets that stock imported products, otherwise I probably couldn’t survive…;)
Hi Rebecca, great job on the blog! The food looks amazing even for a non veggie. Im definitely gonna try out some of the recipes. Hope things are going well for you in HK. Cheers. Angus
Hi Rebecca!!!
I really love your website too! I am not a vegan but I really enjoy good veggie dishes and healthy food!
Your recipes are very inspiring and I am about to try them! Could you please let me know where you usually go shopping for all the ingredients! Especially that Quinoa 😉 Thanks a lot, gorgeous girl!
I am torn on going vegan. Part of me thinks it is the right thing to do, but I feel if I jump right in, I will fail at it. What are some good beginner crash course tips?
Hi Tom, you’re right – it might be easier to take it slow. First, make sure you know why it is that you are wanting to become Vegan. Once you understand the reasons, and they are solid in your mind it might make it easier to stick to your new lifestyle. If you still eat meat, start by becoming Pescetarian (just eating fish), and once you’re ready, cut out the seafood too and stick to Vegetarian meals. Then maybe after a few months of getting used to eating Vegetarian, start cutting out Dairy products and Eggs, and see how it goes. Learn how to make your favourite meals and treats Veganized – that’s what kept me going 🙂 Let me know if you ever need any recipes for anything!
Amazing recipes!! I will make some of them :PPPP
Great! Let me know what you try 🙂
Thank you for putting up this site! I’m a raw vegan from Manila, and I am thrilled to see more people see the lifestyle as something beyond eating boring tasteless food 🙂
Cheers!
Great! You should try attend my friend’s Vegan Charity event every month in Manila – usually at Establishment 🙂 Let me know if you want her contact x
Hi Rebecca! I’m so happy to have found your site! I’m ready to make the switch from a S.A.D diet to Vegan overnight! I’ve had to go Vegan before for health problems, but now want to switch for good, for so many more reasons than that. I look forward to trying your recipes. Please keep them coming! You’re doing a world of good for those of us trying to find our way! Do you feature Raw Vegan recipes from time to time as well? I must look around, I’ve only just found your blog. Well done so far! 🙂
